You'll be an essential part of the delivery team, ensuring construction excellence, site safety, and project momentum across high-profile developments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily site operations and manage subcontractors/trades
- Coordinate with Project Managers, engineers, and consultants to align site activities with project goals
- Ensure all site work complies with NZ building codes and H&S standards
- Maintain and monitor project timelines and resource schedules
- Conduct quality assurance checks and uphold high workmanship standards
- Handle procurement tasks, site documentation, and reporting
- Lead by example with strong on-site leadership and problem-solving
- 8+ years in commercial construction, ideally with:
- Independent site management of projects valued $5M–$10M, or
- Experience supporting major projects valued $20M–$100M as a Senior Site Manager under a PM
- Strong understanding of NZ construction practices, health & safety legislation, and council compliance
- Trade background or relevant tertiary construction qualification
- Leadership skills with the ability to drive teams and influence outcomes
- Excellent communication, planning, and coordination abilities
- Eligibility to work in New Zealand
