Intermediate Property Consultant - Waikato


The Intermediate Property Consultant role is multifaceted, with responsibilities that include performing acquisition, disposal, legislation, advisory and other property work for Crown, local Government and network utility clients. 

Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Initiating, planning, executing, controlling, and closing projects.
  • Developing, managing and complying with project proposals, scopes, budgets, deliverables, programmes/milestones and standards.
  • Project scheduling, project role and team definition.
  • Planning project communications.
  • Meeting specified project objectives, quality assurance requirements, success criteria, financial targets, programmes and budgets using Projectworks or other selected tools.
  • Maximising the financial and commercial success of the firm's projects.



As an Intermediate Property Consultant, you'll have opportunities to learn and develop into a Senior Property Consultant position. You will ideally have:

  • Ideally you will have a relevant tertiary qualification in property, valuation, surveying or similar.
  • Working knowledge of the Public Works Act
  • You can either have a strong technical background or have exceptional relationship building skills.

The salary range is $90,000 - $120,000 per annum and you'll have access to a modern shared office space in Hamilton Central.



Area Manager - Hawkes Bay


As the Property Area Manager, you will have a broad range of responsibilities, from identifying market opportunities to performing property rights negotiations and public consultations on behalf of clients. You will also play a key role in identifying and recruiting talent, building relationships with prospects and clients, ensuring the team meets or exceeds performance objectives, productivity targets, and best practice standards.


In addition to managing the property team, you will be responsible for maximizing the financial and commercial success of the company focusing on achieving the company's vision, values, objectives, strategy, and business plans.


  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders in the local property market.
  • Use your deep knowledge of the local market for business development.
  • Negotiate effectively on behalf of clients to ensure they get the best possible deal.
  • Monitor and analyse market trends and changes to stay up to date with industry developments.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to ensure the team is successful.
  • Set and achieve sales targets and other performance metrics to maximize profits for the company.
  • Collaborate with other departments within the company to ensure a seamless client experience.
