I am a recent migrant to New Zealand. Although I am mid-career and had good employment experience in my country, I struggled to initially find a job in my field in New Zealand.
One day I came across one of one eighty recruitment’s adverts on the internet and decided to give it a go. Jess contacted me on the phone quickly and invited me for an interview scheduled for the following day. After the interview, Jess was able to place me in a temporary job for a couple of weeks. She also helped me through all the procedures of starting work in a new country (which is very helpful to new migrants). Everything worked out smoothly.

I dealt with Mike before my move to New Zealand from the UK and would like to say he is a proactive recruitment manager who discusses all options with clients, is open and up-front, i.e. he doesn’t hide any details from you just so he can get a fee, unlike some other consultants/recruitment companies. Early in 2014 I was looking to get back into the construction industry and I contacted one eighty recruitment after noticing a number of job vacancies which I was interested in.
