Mesh Coatings Ltd has been operating since April 2010. We are a locally owned and operated business and pride ourselves on solving problems by creating practical quality solutions.
Our aim is to be the leading applicator of external membrane and cladding systems throughout Wellington; to be respected by professionals as leaders in our field.
We first started out with 4 employees and currently have 30 as we have experienced rapid growth over the last 6 years. We initially worked within the residential side of the construction business, but now the focus has moved to commercial work.
At Mesh Coatings we aim to be an employer of choice within our industry and do this by providing an inclusive and supportive work environment where all staff are treated with respect. We believe in paying all staff competitive rates, provide new vehicles and encourage our staff to take pride in what they do and in Mesh. As employers we will always support our staff in whatever way we can. A number of our employees are also Licensed Building Practitioners
We provide regular on the job training and encourage and support apprentices in both sides of our business. Apprentices are provided on-site training but are also supported with their bookwork. We also choose to pay above minimum wage for our apprentices so they are supported financial while completing their study.
Health and Safety is a huge priority for Mesh Coatings. We ensure all new staff are inducted, provided with the correct PPE and Training. We hold weekly toolbox meetings to ensure all H&S issues are communicated up and down the company structure. We have active Working at Height Polices and are proud to say we have a drug free workforce as we conduct annual health monitoring and random drug testing.

We provide expert application of external cladding and membrane systems to residential and commercial properties requiring weather-tight solutions throughout the Wellington region. By providing a full range of products and services, we are able to provide and project manage work to the full external envelope of a building. This saves the client time and hassle (by avoiding multiple subcontractors).
External Cladding / Plastering:
Mesh are registered applicators of all Rockcote (Resene Construction Systems) and Sto Systems. We can provide a comprehensive range of plastering services, from external plaster cladding systems to the refurbishment of existing and heritage buildings as well as traditional sand and cement plaster systems. Our cladding systems work in conjunction with our membrane systems to provide a weather-tight exterior on any building from repairs and refurbishments to renovations or large scale commercial work. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality exterior finishes to meet our clients needs.
Mesh are registered applicators of all Equus and Ardex products. The membrane division encompasses waterproof membranes to balconies, roofs and underground tanking systems. As Mesh has grown, so has the diversity of the systems we install. As well as torch applied membranes for insulated and acoustic roof systems, we also provide services in flooring systems, liquid applied membranes, butynol and TPO's. We also complete metal roofing and associated flashing systems that work in conjunction with our plaster systems to provide a total solution to the envelope of a building.
